However, a little extra care, regular combing and brushing, and also the right supplements, can ensure glossy, healthy fur and a cat that is fighting fit during moulting as well.
Support your cat with omega-3 or omega-6 fatty acids during moulting.
Felimol derm contains polyunsaturated omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. These are primarily sourced from thistle oil, hemp oil and salmon oil.
But linseed oil, rapeseed oil and walnut oil are also good, and they can be well absorbed by your cat’s body. It is therefore recommendable to mix a small quantity of these digestible oils into your cat’s food, alternating at regular intervals. Important: Give your cat cold-pressed oils because these contain a greater quantity of essential fatty acids compared to hot-pressed products!
